The Linkville Players — Open Auditions: The Tragedie of Macbeth
6:30 – 8:30 PM • Klamath Union High School, James Ivory Auditorium, 1300 Monclaire St (enter through cafeteria)
Local community theatre is casting for a full-length production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth (Jan 9-24). They are seeking about 13 actors plus behind-the-scenes support (lighting, sound, practical effects). Please arrive about 15 minutes early for registration and warm-up. Auditions include a 1-minute Shakespeare piece; if you don’t already have one, sonnets will be provided.

A drop-in information and recruiting session for college-age women interested in participating in the Miss Klamath County / Miss City of Sunshine scholarship pageant (a local preliminary to Miss America). Tuesday, Nov 11
— Klamath Falls Veterans Day Parade, Ceremony, and Lunch Day in Klamath Falls — Join the Community in Honoring Our Heroes
Klamath Falls comes together each year to recognize and honor the brave men and women who have served our nation. This year’s observance offers a full morning of remembrance, celebration, and community fellowship. Everyone is welcome to attend.
10:00 AM – Veterans Day Parade (Downtown Klamath Falls)
Begin the day with the annual Veterans Day Parade through downtown Klamath Falls. The route will feature marching bands, community organizations, first responders, classic vehicles, and veterans representing every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. Line the streets and show your support.
11:00 AM – Veterans Day Ceremony (Veterans Memorial Park)
Immediately following the parade, gather at Veterans Memorial Park for the community ceremony hosted by VFW Post 1383 and the Marine Corps League – Crater Lake Detachment 373, proudly recognized as an honored Gold Country Radio partner.
Ceremony Highlights:
- Flyover by the 173rd Fighter Wing Command, Kingsley Field
- National Anthem and America the Beautiful performed by the Klamath Union High School Choir and the Henley High School Choir
- Guest speakers, including County Commissioner Andy Nichols
- Special recognition of the oldest veteran in attendance
Following the Ceremony – Complimentary Veterans & Family Lunch
All military members, veterans, and their families are invited to a free community lunch provided by:

- Marine Corps League – Crater Lake Detachment 373
- American Legion
Menu: Chili, spaghetti, and a full potato bar.
Share a warm meal and fellowship with those who have served and those who support them.
