Expect Snow and blowing snow with snow accumulations 2
to 6 inches except up to 10 inches over the higher terrain. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
Affected areas include Eastern Klamath County and the
Klamath Basin. This includes the Highway 97 corridor from Klamath Falls north to Gilchrist,
Highway 140 near Bly Summit, Quartz Mountain and in the Warners
east of Lakeview.
Expect these conditions to contine through 10 o’clock Saturday morning
Note that travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Strong winds could cause blowing and drifting snow with limited visibility and some power disruptions.
